Founder
Chisom
Oke-Chinda
Chisom is a Lawyer and Mediator on International Children’s Rights. With an Advanced Masters in International Children’s Rights (LL.M) from the University of Leiden, Netherlands, Chisom has worked and interacted with industry experts and practitioners across diverse jurisdictions and fields of service.
She is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators; with these tools, she engages in effective dispute resolution particularly in matters concerning children. Chisom is a registered Alternative Dispute Resolution Neutral at the Rivers State Multi-door Courthouse in Nigeria.
She is a graduate of the University of Reading where she obtained the Bachelor of Laws (LL.M) degree with Honours. Over the period of her study and work, Chisom has consistently expressed her innate passion for every child to live a successful life. In line with her desire, she has devotedly worked with government institutions towards the fulfilment of their obligations.
Prior to the establishment of Sceptre and Prima, Chisom Oke-Chinda worked as the Legal Assistant to the Commissioner for Social Welfare and Rehabilitation in Rivers State, Nigeria. Her commitment to seeing government succeed in its responsibilities regarding the child spurred the incorporation of this Firm to ensure the effective provision of expert solutions to key stakeholders towards the advancement of the rights of every child.
