About the Conference

The Child and Family Law Conference is a high-level forum dedicated to bridging the gap between Nigeria’s child justice laws and their practical implementation. Recognizing that children comprise a vast portion of the national demographic, the event seeks to move beyond mere statutory recognition toward a holistic, rights-based, and responsive system. By convening a diverse group of stakeholders—including the judiciary, legal experts, policymakers, and children themselves—the conference aims to reform and strengthen the administration of justice to better reflect the lived realities of Nigerian children.
